The Burundi Education Foundation awarded the prize for the best laureate of the chemistry department, class of 2022-2023, at the University of Burundi. The head of this department praised the determination of this student and encouraged him to continue his training.rthur Nkengurutse, winner of the 2024 edition of the best student award in the chemistry department, did not hide his emotion. I had the goal of one day obtaining this award and I had set principles to achieve it.” This award dedicated to the late Professor Joseph Katihabwa was awarded for the first time in 2022.
